This malleable hand splint is ideally suited for Static Progressive splinting purposes. Made using a combined foam and wire construction that allows for adjustment to suit patients needs. The splint may be reshaped if necessary to accommodate the patient’s progress without making a new splint or making complicated adjustments with a heat gun or hot water bath.
The splint is suitable for most positioning applications of the hand, wrist and fingers. Most common clinical applications are: Post Surgical, POST C.V.A, Arthritis, and Nights Splint for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Features:
· Hand and forearm splint “wings” are made of malleable aluminum allowing easy and convenient shaping to desired anatomical positions and optimal fit
· The core of the splint is made from sturdy stainless steel wire, including the wrist section connecting the hand and forearm. This allows the medical professional to properly shape the splint in Extension/Flexion, Supination/Pronation and Radial/Ulnar positions
· Easy positioning of strapping for optimal placement
· Straps ends for simple strap length adjustment. Easy lift-off hook.
· Foam and breathable replacement liner are comfortable and cleanable (Hand Wash) |
