Ligaflex Immo New Immobilization Wrist Brace TECHNICAL FEATURES Fabric wrist splint 3 main components: Polyamide: • Softness, breathability and resistance to washing Polyester: • Resistance to washing Cotton: • Comfort, softness, absorbance 3D knit`: • Creates ventilation channels •Evacuation of sweat Velcro fastening system: • Tested for over 1000 fastenings SPECIFIC FEATURES: Longer splint on both hand and arm, improving immobiliation. Total immobilisation due to the presence of 2 inlays (palmar and dorsal) made of X-Ray transparent aluminium. 2 pairs of inlays available separately to enable treatment of conditions that no standard splints can treat. Anatomical cut for greater comfort at the thumb and to preserve grip function. Micro-aerated 3D knit for greater comfort while wearing. Jersey fabric making it easier to put on (slips on like a glove) and preventing the straps from being in direct contact with the skin. Strap numbering system for easier fitting (3points system . .. ...) Pictogram system on the inlays to make them easier to fit: indicates which inlay (palmar or dorsal) provides which immobilisation position and how to fit them. 3 different immobilisation positions thanks to the removable aluminium inlay • 45o up extended • 45o down flexed • 30o down flexed and cubital inclination Indications: Extended wrist position (radiocarpal extension) : Sequelae of wrist or carpal injuries: • Scaphoid pseudarthrosis • Dorsal triquetral avulsion • Carpal instability. Degenerative disease: • Radiocarpal arthrisis • Carpal boss • Synovial cyst of the wrist • Kienboch's aseptic necrosis of the semilunar bone. Inflammatory joint disease, including rheumatoid arthritis. Tendon diseases and tendon injuries: • De Quervain's stenotic tenosynovis • Crepitant tenosynovitis of the extensors. Flexed wrist position (radiocarpal flexion): • Tenosynovitis of the flexores: carpal tunnel syndrome that has not been surgically corrected • Peri-scaphoid arthritis • Guyon's canal syndrome. Flexed wrist (radiocarpal flexion) and cubital inclination position: • Reduction of radial fracture and stabilisation using Judet's technique • Wrist fractures in the very eldery • After 3 weeks, gradual return to wrist extension. 2 models right or left hand, Same sizing as Ligaflex Manu and Classic  |
