These large drinking straws can be used for hot or cold liquids. The rigid ¼” diameter straw is ideal for soups. Clear acrylic straws may be heated with a hairdryer or hot water and bent.
Facilitates independent drinking. Liquid intake is controlled by adjusting the position of the cup, or blocking the opening by pinching the straw. The 8 oz cup has a connector near the bottom for straw attachment. Twelve straws are included. Replacement straws are available in supermarkets.
This clip-on device eliminates the need to hold the straw. Mounts unto the edge of any glass or cup. For straws under 3/8” outside diameter. 6 per package.
An alternate to syringe feeding. Suitable for feeding thick soups or pureed food to people in bed or to people who have limited oral-motor abilities. A soft, silicone rubber feeding nozzle can be squeezed to control the flow of food. The 5 1/2” nozzle holds one tablespoon. The 8 oz food reservoir has a plunger that forces the food through a side port into the feeding nozzle. Clear plastic. Household and institutional dishwasher safe.
