Over the last 60 years, therapeutic ultrasound has become one of the most frequently applied modalities in physical therapy. Modern ultrasound therapy has proven effective for treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and soft tissue disorders.

Ultrasound therapy is ideal for treating dense connective tissues (e.g., ligaments, tendons, fascia, joint capsules, scar tissue).
