The Tewa coated needles feature a micro-layer of bio-inert silicone which reduces friction on insertion and minimizes patient discomfort. They are composed of a stainless steel shaft and a copper-wound loop handle that provides excellent conductivity for electro-stimulation. Each needle 40mm (1.5") and longer is packaged in a Safe-T Sleeve™, the world's first two-part guide tube. The Safe-T Sleeve™ was created to solve the problems that arise when inserting longer needles into dense or tight tissue - namely the potential bowing of the needle and difficulty stabilizing the needle shaft. Now you can use the Safe-T Sleeve™ to help complete insertion to the target depth - all without compromising the sterility of the needle shaft. 100 needles per box
